Three Additions to the Family of God

On Sunday morning, November 22, 2009 Austin Woodard and Scott Meredith were baptised. The following Sunday morning, November 29th Gayle Labe was baptised. This brings the total number of baptisms for First Baptist Church of Great Falls up to 14 so far this year: a record number of baptisms.

New Office Manager

We welcome Jennifer Guida as our new Office Manager. Jennifer joins us with over 12 years of banking and business experience. Prior to joining our team Jennifer worked as a Personal Banker and Branch Manager for Wells Fargo Bank until she joined her husband full time at their photography studio. Jennifer co-owns Big Sky Portrait Studio here in Great Falls with her husband Nick, who is the photographer. Nick and Jennifer are proud parents of two children Jacob age 11 and Chloe age 9. The family moved to Great Falls 3 years ago from Washington State. Whenever possible Jennifer and her family enjoy the great outdoors while spending quality family time together.

Second Baptism Service This Year

On August 23, 2009 Five people demonstrated their decision to follow Jesus as Lord and Savior by being baptised. They were Steve and Terry Park, Rick and Miranda McCaul, and Quinten Woodard. This is the second baptism service this year! Praise God!

Baptism Service

On Sunday morning, June 14th six people were baptised during the worship service. They were Margaret Keyes and three of her children - D'Angelo (13), Alize (10), and Giavauna (9); Forrest Woodard (15); and Adelia Rosales (13). They will be presented their baptism certificate at a later date.

Boxes Recieve the Jitsuo Morikawa Evangelism Award

Carl and Sara Box are long time members of First Baptist Church. Their warm hearts and outward focused ministries to children of prisoners and to recently released prisoners has earned them the recognition of the Jitsuo Morikawa Evangelism Award for 2009. An award given by American Baptist Churches of the USA every other year. It will be presented on Sunday morning, June 14th during the church worship service.

One of the families that have come to Christ because of the ministries of the Boxes will be baptised during the service.
